The presentation will review how to align product labeling to comply with Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) to meet new OSHA Hazard Communication Standards for the fast approaching June 1, 2015 compliance deadline.

The webinar will include a general review of GHS, including outlining the new approach in classifying products. It also will offer insight on how the new OSHA HCS will drive labeling changes and how to leverage “sources of truth” for data to produce GHS compliant labels.

Daniel Levine is an expert in the field of chemicals safety standards and regulations with over 40-years experience in the industry. He provides consults with a wide range of businesses regarding product hazard communication, TSCA compliance, and other regulatory areas affecting both manufacturing activities and finished products. He has served as President of the Society for Chemical Hazardous Communication (SCHC) and has received SCHC’s Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as being elected a Fellow for the institute of Hazardous Materials Management.
