UniCarriers taps LKH&S for advertising and branding

UniCarriers Americas Corporation has hired LKH&S to send a new message to the materials handling marketplace. The Chicago ad agency brings its successful track record to the newest brand in forklifts.

The UniCarriers brand was created last year after the acquisition of Nissan Forklift Corporation, North America and TCM America. By fully leveraging the extent of its corporate resources, UniCarriers has set its sights on market leadership in forklift sales and service in the Americas. “UniCarriers has an aggressive growth strategy that is supported by an extensive new product roadmap and, with the addition of LKH&S, will now be driven by an equally aggressive advertising campaign,” said Mark Porwit, director of marketing, UniCarriers Americas. “We’ve partnered with LKH&S to launch a highly authentic and dynamic branding initiative with the goal of creating disruptive change in the Americas market.”

Marketing and advertising plans are in their final stages with campaigns set to launch this fall.

“From the agency’s perspective, this is an exciting opportunity. We have a client who is motivated and ready to differentiate itself in the marketplace to show customers why its product and service offering is unmatched,” said Stanton Lewin, managing director, LKH&S. “We believe UniCarriers is best of breed as it has the experience of a mature company and the vigor of a new brand.”

UniCarriers and LKH&S have leveraged several research studies to develop the new marketing strategy. While the new campaign development is advancing, details are still being kept confidential.
