Registration is now open for the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) Industry Summit, taking place October 23–25, 2025, at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas. Recognized as the largest annual gathering of power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) professionals, the Industry Summit is the premier platform for forging connections, sharing strategies and leading the future of the industry.

The Industry Summit offers three dynamic days of high-level learning, peer-to-peer engagement and presentations offering actionable business insights. Senior executives and key decision makers across the channel come together to align on priorities, uncover new opportunities and explore solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.

This year’s program tackles top-of-mind topics shaping the PT/MC landscape—including the rise of artificial intelligence, economic shifts and channel collaboration. Keynote speakers include Trent Gillespie, former Amazon leader and AI expert, and Sean Metcalfe of Oxford Economics, offering forward-looking perspectives on how PT/MC businesses can lead through change and uncertainty.

Sessions will also reveal exclusive findings from PTDA’s new Voice of the Manufacturer and Voice of the Distributor research as well as its 2025 PTDA Size of the Market Report—empowering attendees to make more informed strategic decisions.

Networking is the hallmark of the Industry Summit. From informal social hours to dedicated business-building events, the program is designed to foster meaningful conversations. Highlights include:

  • MD-IDEX (Manufacturer-Distributor Idea Exchange): PTDA’s cornerstone networking event where attendees engage in high-impact, 1:1 discussions—maximizing time and opportunity.
  • Exclusive events like the Women in the Industry Social Hour & Family-Owned Business Leaders Breakfast—forums designed to build community among leaders with shared experiences.
  • Optional events, including the PTDA Foundation Golf Outing at the acclaimed TPC San Antonio, add to the experience while supporting industry workforce development.

Set amid 600 scenic acres, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country provides an exceptional venue for productive discussions and relaxed networking. The property’s on-site golf courses, water experiences and luxury amenities offer the perfect backdrop for business and bonding alike.

Registration and additional information are available at ptda.org/IndustrySummit. Early bird discounts apply through September 12, 2025. Rooms at the JW Marriott are limited and expected to sell out.

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is the leading global association for the industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution channel.
