The PTDA Foundation recently introduced its new Start Your Career. Move the World. video at the 2025 PTDA Industry Summit in San Antonio, Texas. The video is an extension of the Foundation’s Building Awareness initiative, aimed at generating interest in the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry and help companies recruit new talent.
The 60-second video brings the power transmission and motion control (PT/MC) industry to life—showcasing how PT/MC technologies keep the world moving across energy, food production, transportation, healthcare and more. Designed to bring attention to long-term, high-impact careers, the video gives employers a dynamic tool to engage future talent.
“The video provides a comprehensive representation of what we do in the PT/MC industry,” says Dave Tassi, senior manager strategic accounts, NSK Americas. “Most people outside the industry don’t have a clear understanding of its far-reaching impact, the many industries we collaborate with or the cutting-technology we use. The video is an excellent tool to inspire young people considering a career in technology.”
PT/MC companies can also request a customized version featuring their logo and website, making it easy to use across social media, campus recruiting, career fairs and company websites. Interested organizations may email [email protected].
“Our industry offers a wide range of careers that truly make a difference,” says Matt Pavlinsky, PTDA Foundation president. “This video is yet another tool employers can use to connect and inspire the next generation of industry leaders.”
