Expansion Adds 18,500 Square Feet, Boosts Efficiency and Customer Service

Hapman, a global provider of custom bulk material handling equipment, has announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing facility. As demand for Hapman’s solutions continues to grow, the company is investing in an additional 18,500 square feet of manufacturing space, which will increase its total manufacturing area by 35%. By expanding its footprint, Hapman is positioning itself to continue its legacy of excellence and maintain its leadership in the bulk material handling industry for years to come.

Once completed, the expanded facility will feature a state-of-the-art, two-person paint booth that will deliver superior finishes and increased throughput. The new space will also feature dedicated areas for pre-wiring and assembly operations, enhanced shipping and receiving capabilities, and additional space for Helix inventory, finished equipment, and parts staging. All customer equipment runoffs will now be conducted in the expansion area, ensuring these critical processes take place in an environment free from the noise and dust of ongoing manufacturing activities.

This facility expansion reflects Hapman’s ongoing commitment to growth and continuous improvement while maintaining the high standards of quality that have defined the company for eight decades. “As we celebrate 80 years of excellence, this facility expansion represents an exciting new chapter for Hapman,” said Randy McBroom, Vice President of Manufacturing. “The additional space and advanced capabilities will allow us to better serve our customers while continuing to deliver the reliable solutions they have come to expect from us.”

With this expansion, Hapman is equipped to support increased order volume and deliver greater value to its customers. The new facility enhancements will streamline operations and provide the flexibility needed to address future industry demands. As a trusted name in the industry, Hapman looks forward to leveraging this investment to further strengthen its capabilities and maintain its reputation for excellence in the bulk material handling sector.
