Forklifts Group expands with seven dealerships

Listen to this article

Forklifts Group has announced it will expand its business operations to the West Coast with seven dealership locations. This will enable the company to serve customers on a national scale.

This change will increase Forklifts Group’s family of dealership locations from three to ten, making the company one of the county’s top Bobcat material handling dealerships. Currently located in Ohio and New York, the additional dealerships located in California and Nevada will allow the business to streamline operations to provide better service to its national customer base.

Bill St. John, East President, welcomes the West Coast with open arms. “We look forward to the positive impact this change will bring for our customers,” Bill St. John said. “With an increased footprint across the country, our focus will be to serve customers nationally as a top Bobcat forklift dealer.”

The additional dealerships, located across California in Fresno, Sacramento, Manteca, Bakersfield, San Diego, Santa Maria and Los Angeles as well as Las Vegas, Nevada, will be overseen by Brent Poulton, serving as President for Forklifts Group on the West Coast.

“This next step will allow us to more closely align our efforts with an organization with a proven successful track record of more than 40 years in the material handling network,” Poulton said. “We’ll see immediate benefits as we leverage our inventories, processes, purchasing power, and marketing efforts.”
