This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to everyone involved.

Combilift Straddle Carrier 2024

In 2024, Combilft had another record year with revenues of over €500m, 1,000 employees worldwide, and 90,000 Combilifts in operation.  In addition to these milestones, 2024 was a momentous year for the Straddle Carrier department, building its largest capacity unit.  This unique Straddle Carrier is designed to transport towers for offshore wind turbines in the Netherlands with an impressive 150-ton lifting capacity.

2024 brought an unprecedented year for awards. “Every innovation and milestone reflects our commitment to pushing boundaries and transforming material handling worldwide. This moment belongs to our employees, customers, dealers, and suppliers, who rely on us to deliver quality material handling solutions that optimize their warehouse space,” said Martin McVicar, co-founder and CEO of Combilift.

Giving back to the community included a €63,420 donation to the Motor Neurone Disease / ALS Respite facility. This particular cause is close to our heart at Combilift, as Gearoid Lynch – one of our long-standing colleagues, has been directly impacted by this debilitating disease. Gearoid’s vision is to raise funds for a fully accessible coastal property that will be made available as a respite destination for those affected by MND / ALS and their families.

Drumlin House helps people with intellectual disability understand their rights, discover their strengths, identify opportunities to progress, and develop their skills by providing training and work opportunities. Combilift provided €50,000 towards purchasing educational and training equipment for their facility.
