Colliers International and Loyola University School of Business to host supply chain seminar

Colliers International and The Supply and Value Chain Center (SVCC) of the Loyola University School of Business will co-host a discussion with leading supply chain business leaders on December 4, 2014, entitled: “A Capital Markets Understanding of Supply Chain Real Estate.” Topics will include:

· What real estate developers are thinking about when supply chain leaders are negotiating rent;

· A panel discussion of three leading real estate investors connecting the real estate capital markets world to the distribution center world: David J. Friedman, President of Conor Commercial; Donald Schoenheider, Vice President of Liberty Property Trust; and Carter Andrus, Senior Vice President, Market Officer at Prologis;

· “How Will the U.S Roadmap for Material Handling & Logistics Affect Your Business?” by Gary Forger, Managing Director, Professional Development, Material Handling Institute (MHI). Supply chain disruptors from e-commerce to workforce are accelerating change in the supply chain, and this discussion will look out to 2025 on the impact of these disruptors and the importance of 10 core competencies that companies will need to develop to be successful in the future.

The event will be moderated by Jack Rosenberg, National Director, Logistics & Transportation Principal, Chicago, Colliers International; Frederick Regnery, Principal, Chicago, Colliers International; and John A. Caltagirone, Director, Supply and Value Chain Center, Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago.

The discussion will start at 10:00 a.m. and run until noon, and be held at Colliers International’s Rosemont office, 6250 N. River Road, Suite 11-100, Rosemont, IL.
