Barcoding, Inc.gives back big in Texas

Listen to this article

Barcoding Inc., a provider in supply chain automation is thankful for giving back to their community. On Thursday, November 29th Barcoding’s entire Texas office and members of the leadership team joined their partner, Front Gate Tickets, for their annual charity day.

Barcoding, Inc. employee’s teamed up with both Front Gate Tickets and members of the local Zebra Technologies office to serve and package food at the Central Texas Foodbank in Austin, and it was a rewarding experience.

Having worked with Front Gate Tickets for more than ten years, they often partnered with them to support local charity events. When Barcoding, Inc. officially joined the Texas community in September with the acquisition of Danforth Systems, they made it a priority to give back to the region in an impactful way.   Because Central Texas is among the fastest growing regions in the nation, vulnerable populations in the area often get overshadowed. Barcoding, Inc. wanted to lend a hand to our new community in order to combat the food insecurity rate—and the Central Texas Foodbank was the perfect partner.   The Barcoding, Inc. team was honored to have the opportunity to give back to our new community, as well as foster an even closer relationship with our partners Front Gate Tickets and Zebra Technologies. They were able to serve 13,303 meals and, as a result, see 13,303 smiles.
