Accellos announced that third party logistics provider Nexus, has chosen AccellosOne Enterprise 3PL Solution as its new Warehouse Management System (WMS).  Implementation began in early December and Nexus will go live with its first phase of accounts on March 11, 2013. “Nexus is a solutions-focused company,” says Nexus CEO Dean Hansen, “and we’ve always prided ourselves in providing best technology available to our customers.  This tradition started over 30 years ago when we were one of the first public warehouse companies to introduce barcode scanning back in 1980.  We were ahead of the curve with scanning, EDI and online visibility.  Moving to Accellos will take us to the next level and enhance our ability to manage productivity and provide interactive performance management reporting.” According to Nexus Strategic Projects Director John Masich, Accellos was chosen among the finalists because of several important factors.  He explains, “The demonstration of their system made us comfortable that the system could meet the variety of our business needs.  Of all the providers we met with during our selection phase, Accellos had the strongest sense of what it takes to be flexible in a third party environment.  The Accellos staff was able to meet our IT team’s sophistication and their references were very strong.”  “We aim to provide solutions that promote a user-friendly experience and that leverage technology to achieve maximum efficiencies,” affirms Terri Bennett, Nexus VP of Customer Solutions and IT.  Bennett explains, “Accellos was selected because its team shared our commitment to providing reliability and excellence.  The company provides expert implementation assistance as well as continuous improvement in system logic and technology advancement utilization.  These attributes are well aligned with Nexus values and our commitment to customers.”
