UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) celebrated its top dealer personnel during UCA’s annual Pack for the Sun sales trip last month. An estimated 50 dealer personnel and their guests traveled to sunny Punta Cana, Dominican Republic where they were recognized for top sales performance.

Pack for the Sun winners are selected based on the number of new units and aftermarket parts sold. To qualify for the trip, UCA sales representatives were entered into contest groups determined by their dealership’s market size.

During the trip, two UCA Pinnacle award winners were announced; the Pinnacle award for New Equipment Sales was given to Henry Hannan of M&L Industries, and the Pinnacle award for Aftermarket Parts went to Jeff Stehley of Capital Equipment and Handling. The Pinnacle award is a lifetime achievement award given to the most successful sales professionals in UCA’s dealer network.

“Receiving the UniCarriers Pinnacle award was a complete surprise and a wonderful honor,” said Henry Hannan, vice president of M&L Industries. “I’ve known most of the Pinnacle winners for years. Most of us can have success on occasion but to have exceptional success year after year is the mark of a true professional in any vocation. To be accepted into this group by the leadership at UniCarriers and the past Pinnacle winners is truly a blessing.”

“This is a trip all of us look forward to every year, not only because we get to enjoy a relaxing getaway to a beautiful destination, but also because it reflects the hard work and success that each of these winners have accomplished,” said Brian Markison, senior director of sales and marketing for UniCarriers Americas. “Our success follows naturally and only from our dealers’ success. This trip is an opportunity to celebrate our success together.”

Pack for the Sun attendees enjoyed many perks and activities during their trip including a welcome reception on the beach with live entertainment, a golf outing, an awards reception and dinner, and a VIP Catamaran tour.
