EnerSys®,  global provider of stored energy solutions for industrial applications, has received the 2017 Most Valuable Supplier (MVS) award from the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA). This marks the second year that EnerSys has earned the prestigious industry award, which was created to recognize MHEDA supplier member companies that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to their dealer network, employees and community.

To qualify for the MVS Award, EnerSys was required to demonstrate the company’s dedication to business excellence in areas important to MHEDA distributor companies. Along with confirming an ongoing commitment to safety, EnerSys met several requirements in five areas of excellence, including:

  • Industry Advocacy
  • Distributor Advocacy
  • Business Networking
  • Continuing Education
  • Business Best Practices

“We are proud to be a MHEDA supplier member and extremely pleased to have earned this recognition for the second year in a row,” said Bill Moriarty, EnerSys Vice President Sales & Service Motive Power Americas. “The 2017 MVS Award represents our ongoing commitment to the success of the MHEDA dealerships with whom we do business and the greater materials handling industry itself.”

“MHEDA members represent the best of our industry; and those who earn the MVS Award have documented that excellence and commitment to their dealers, community, employees and the material handling industry,” said Scott Lee, MHEDA’s 2017 Chairman of the Board and President of Schaumburg, IL-based Conveyor Solutions, Inc. “MHEDA is very proud of our MVS Award winners.”
