Wolter Power Systems, a member of Wolter Group LLC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Rubens as vice president – general manager. He replaces Dan Martin who has retired after 16 years with the company.

Rubens graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds 19 years’ industry knowledge and expertise gained through a variety of positions with leading industry players. His experience includes five years with Loftin Equipment, a Kohler distributor located in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by over 11 years at Cummins Rocky Mountain, as the southern division regional manager for branches in Phoenix and Las Vegas.

After moving back to the Midwest, Rubens held the position of vice president of sales-Standby Generator Group for Briggs & Stratton before joining Wolter Power Systems one year ago as vice president of sales.  In his new role, Rubens quickly proved he was prepared for the fast-track of transitioning into the new vice president – general manager role for Wolter Power Systems, upon Martin’s retirement.

“We’re confident that Rubens brings the right combination of skill, leadership and customer and market focus to take the business to the next level. I’m pleased to see the company in such capable hands and excited for the future growth of Wolter Power Systems.” said Jerry Weidmann, President of Wolter Group LLC.
