Buckhorn Inc., provider of reusable plastic packaging solutions, is introducing a new 48″ x 40″ nestable distribution pallet at this year’s Pack Expo. The patent-pending pallet optimizes storage, shipping and handling for the grocery, retail and wholesale food distribution markets. It is an economical and sustainable alternative to wood allowing hundreds of round trips for a lower overall cost-per-trip.

The pallet’s two-piece welded construction offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio. The distribution pallet is lightweight, easy to clean and provides a high dynamic load capacity of 3,000 lbs. It has ergonomic hand holes for easy lifting. Its non-slip surface minimizes product movement, while the optional perimeter lip and anti-skid grommets also help prevent load shifting.
The feet have a channeled design for added durability, and multiple feet options ensure compatibility with most nestable pallets. Its capture corners grip stretch wrap with ease, and it offers a superior nest ratio – 1,260 empty pallets fit in a 53’ trailer.
