Advantech releases IDK-1105, a 5.7″ VGA (640 x 480) industrial grade LCD panel with resistive touch solution. Although in a compact format, the 5.7″ LCD panel is already embedded with an LED driver board and LVDS interface, making it easy to integrate with embedded boards. IDK-1105 supports 500 cd/m2 high brightness and wide operating temperature of -20° C to 70° C and is suitable for semi-outdoor applications such as vending machines, in-vehicle applications and portable devices.

High brightness for semi-outdoor applications
IDK-1105 features a 5.7″ VGA industrial grade LCD panel with LED backlight built in saving 20% power consumption. It is equipped with 4-wire resistive touch screen which enables accurate and reliable single touch operations. Its 500 cd/m2 high brightness enables it to display sharp and clear images even under semi-outdoor environments. Moreover, IDK-1105 can operate under a wide range of temperatures from -20 °C to 70 °C. IDK-1105 is also available with Advantech value-added solutions that improve display performance such as AR coating.

Integrated LVDS interface for easy integration
IDK-1105 is integrated with an LED driver board and LVDS interface yet still keeps its compact size. With an LVDS interface, there is no need for a converter board to connect IDK-1105 with an embedded board, saving more on integration cost and space. In addition, IDK-1105 is tested to be fully compatible with all Advantech embedded boards and systems. It supports remote backlight On/Off and brightness control via SUSIAccess when connecting with other Advantech single board computers. Our compatible solutions include LVDS cables, ready V-BIOS setting and touch driver support. As a result, Advantech provides system integrators with a highly-integrated display solution that helps save your valuable time as well as a solid foundation for efficiency development.
