Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. will showcase its trio of leading thermal barcode printers during the largest expo for manufacturing and supply chain professionals, ProMat 2015 at Chicago’s McCormick Place South, Booth 356 on March 23 – 26. Throughout the four-day event, Toshiba representatives will demonstrate to attendees how the printers may lower operating costs and increase their efficiencies for myriad of manufacturing, distribution and supply chain applications.

Incorporating the latest in double-sided 2STdirect thermal technology, Toshiba’s DB-EA4D simultaneously prints on the front and back of a label to more efficiently and affordably streamline organizations’ pack-and-ship process. By concurrently printing both a shipping label and packing slip, the potential for processing errors is virtually eliminated thereby enhancing customer satisfaction. Aside from the printer’s two-sided printing capability, Toshiba DB-EA4D users may significantly reduce the amount of printers and labels used to operate more sustainably.

Like its 2ST counterpart, organizations’ financial executives should appreciate Toshiba’s B-EX4T1 and B-EX4T2 thermal barcode printers’ low TCO. For end user peace-of-mind, the company’s industrial barcode printers include a robust three million linear inch warranty. To further lower organizations’ TCO – particularly for such label-intensive environments as warehouses and distribution centers – Toshiba’s B-EX4T1 and B-EX4T2 printers feature 800 and 600 meter ribbon capacities respectively.

Touting a dual ribbon motor, Toshiba’s products better control the ribbon input and output tension preventing wrinkling to limit poor quality labels or unscannable barcodes, which results in less waste. This feature further prevents customer compliance fines or charge backs if barcodes can’t be scanned. Environmentally-conscious companies will also appreciate the ENERGY STAR® awarded products low-energy consumption.

As a result of merging high-speed output within a rugged metal design, Toshiba’s two industrial printers are ideal for use in any manufacturing, distribution center and supply chain environment. The B-EX4T1 and B-EX4T2’s deliver 120 and 140 four-by-six inch labels per minute – respectively – that is optimal for these frenetic environments.

“ProMat 2015 presents an ideal forum for manufacturing, distribution and supply chain professionals to learn how our latest array of thermal barcode printers may address all of their labeling needs,” Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Marketing Executive, Bill Melo said. “Whether attendees seek the latest in 2ST direct thermal printing technology or high-speed industrial printers, Toshiba is capable of improving their operations while also lowering costs.”
