Shoppa’s Material Handling, one of the largest Toyota forklift distributors throughout Dallas/Fort Worth, North Texas and Kansas City, Missouri, got a little bigger today with the addition of a new Business Operations Associate.

After spending the last five years working as a Team Leader/Supervisor with Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing and Toyota Material Handling, Travis Bradley joins the team as a Business Operations Associate.

Travis joins the Shoppa’s family as part of a company-wide effort to focus on implementing Toyota Lean Management best practices throughout Shoppa’s. While at Toyota, Travis made a name for himself for his ability to help streamline processes to best improve key performance indicators. He instituted changes in the Mast Weld Department, X Frame and Electric Frame Weld line that directly resulted in improved efficiency and productivity.

“Travis deeply understands the critical role that Toyota Lean Management plays in our business, and I look forward to his assistance in examining our work flows, policies and procedures to remove wasted time and effort,” said Jim Shoppa, President of Shoppa’s Material Handling. “He is a great addition to the team, and I am excited about how he will help us continue to move forward.”

Travis’s career also includes time as a Supervisor at AISIN USA MFG Inc. and Indiana Hydraulic Manufacturing Corp.

He recently moved with his Wife (Yoshino Bradley) from Indiana to live closer to family in Texas.
