Allows Wonderware North to provide TACTIX system to their customer base
ProAxion, Inc., an Industrial IoT company specializing in predictive maintenance technology for manufacturing, recently entered into a strategic partnership with Wonderware North, providers of software and hardware used in a variety of industrial and manufacturing applications. The partnership would allow Wonderware North to provide the TACTIX system to their customer base – helping to increase and optimize the availability and reduce the maintenance costs of their assets.
While Industry 4.0 and IIoT have offered exciting improvements in industrial productivity and cost cutting efforts, the complexity of most systems makes it difficult for many facilities to take advantage of the up-time improvements those words promise. Darren Kline, Vice President of Wonderware North notes, “The simplicity of ProAxion’s plug and play TACTIX system allows for sensors to be added to our customer’s facilities in a matter of minutes.” The resulting insight into machine health is immediate, since no integration into existing control systems or IT networks is required to gain instant access to critical asset health data.
An added value to customers is the ability to easily extract data from the TACTIX web platform and feed an organization’s existing software infrastructure, allowing them to be data driven with their operational activities. “This partnership was actually the result of mutual customer requests,” explains Justin Rothwell, CEO and Co-Founder of ProAxion, Inc. “Wonderware North works with several of our existing customers, who asked them to integrate their Wonderware solutions with TACTIX and allow the critical reliability data our solution provides to extend into their existing Wonderware-based systems and processes.” Together, the two companies can bring deeper insight to more machines and allow plant and maintenance personnel to make more educated decisions on maintaining their assets.
The TACTIX system is available immediately to Wonderware North customers and will also be featured at the company’s upcoming Technology Expo events in Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago.
