Vision and Control Systems (VCS), a full-service integrator of automation systems, announced it opened the doors to a new office at 1040 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Unit D, in Greenville, South Carolina. Based in Union, New Jersey, VCS was prompted to expand its operations here to better serve and support customers in the Southeast’s fast-growing manufacturing sector.

“VCS’s reputation as a world-class integrator for advanced automation systems has attracted growing attention among manufacturing circles across the U.S. and in dozens of industries,” said Brad Steele, President of Vision and Control Systems. “But the explosive growth of the Southeast’s manufacturing economy has created such remarkable demand for our services and expertise that it was natural for us to open a new office here to better serve and support our growing client base in the region.”

VCS specializes in enhancing the speed, quality, and efficiency of production through a broad range of automation technologies, including machine vision, robotics, bar code and device verification, machine controls, and custom automation equipment. Its new office will initially staff a small contingent of engineers and support crew to serve the southeastern U.S., including the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia. The company chose the Greenville site for its central location in the region and its ready access to additional qualified staff resources as needed.

VCS’s client list comprises manufacturing and packaging companies of every size and spans industries including automotive, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage.
