HighJump, a global provider of supply chain management software, announced today that The PMD Group has selected the HighJump Warehouse Advantage warehouse management system (WMS) for its diverse supply chain needs. The PMD Group is an independently owned 3PL that serves some of the largest retailers in South Africa. The company worked with iWMS, HighJump’s partner in South Africa, to select HighJump Warehouse Advantage.

With the HighJump WMS, The PMD Group will be able to grow its customer base and warehouse volume while continuing to offer superior customer service and greater visibility of customers’ inventory. It expects to improve efficiencies and productivity in all areas of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking and shipping. As one of the most flexible and configurable WMS solutions on the market, the HighJump WMS provides The PMD Group with an open architecture that can be configured to the company’s exact business needs.

“The HighJump WMS is key for growing our customer base and the volume moving through our warehouses,” said Cameron Doyle, group accountant at The PMD Group. “We looked at other systems but they didn’t compare to the sophistication of the HighJump WMS. In addition, iWMS was professional and efficient. I have no doubt that the WMS will help us attract new customers with complex and diverse needs.”

“We are thrilled to be supporting The PMD Group’s growth,” said David Houser, senior vice president international sales, HighJump. “Our strong partnership with iWMS will ensure an efficient WMS deployment that allows The PMD Group to start taking advantage of the best practices and benefits more quickly. The functionality of the system will support The PMD Group’s needs now and the adaptability will ensure its relevancy for years to come. We look forward to a long relationship with The PMD Group.”
