Workstation Lifting Systems (WLS) offers solutions lifting needs

Listen to this article

The XA Aluminum Workstation Crane from Konecranes has been designed to meet and exceed the requirements of most modern lifting demands in industries such as the automotive sector. The multipurpose XA Aluminium Workstation Crane is light-weight, yet strong enough to handle demanding production needs. It can handle low loads up to two metric tons making it a robust and cost efficient solution. The system features a modular design, intended to reduce downtime during installation, expansions, or upgrades. High structural stiffness, small rolling resistance, and quiet use make it ideal for both standard and tailor-made lifting solutions and has been designed to enhance production.

Coupled with Konecranes’ CLX,  AirBalancer and Vertical Lifter, the XA Workstation Lifting system provides a smooth and quiet journey, even across joints. When compared to traditional steel I beam, this light aluminium structure reduces rolling resistance and dead weight by 50%, so loads are handled faster and with less effort. The aluminium construction has been designed to result in a more ergonomic workflow, an increase in productivity, and a reduction in costs, as workers can move loads faster and with less effort. An anodized surface provides superior corrosion resistance giving the XA crane system’s surface greater durability and a longer lifetime.

Konecranes offers one of the most comprehensive and versatile aluminium rail programs in the industry. Monorails, single, double girder and low headroom cranes can be configured for use across the entire production line. The XA Aluminium Workstation Crane has different profile sizes for different loads and all profiles have bolt connections so no welding is required.

Customizable options include a motorized trolley with integrated frequency control, suspensions and power-feeding lines, and a self-standing structure. The lightweight nature of the XA Aluminium Workstation Crane from Konecranes requires less strength from the building structure, while at the same time enhancing the look of your facility with its attractive design.
