Crown Equipment announced the results of its annual recognition program honoring best performing company-owned branches and independent dealers in North America. Crown Lift Trucks of Salt Lake City, Utah/Boise, Idaho, and Fallsway Equipment Company, Akron, Ohio, received the prestigious James F. Dicke Pioneer Award as the company’s top-performing branch and dealer, respectively.

In addition to the Pioneer Award, Crown recognized 15 additional winners with Summit and Ascent Awards for outstanding achievements in sales and customer satisfaction. The Ascent Award recognizes branches and dealers that performed well and are continuing to move toward the summit.

“In order to provide our customers with the best products and solutions for their material handling needs, it is essential that we have a dedicated branch and dealer network,” said Jim Mozer, senior vice president, Crown. “The Summit and Ascent awards are a way for Crown to recognize the branches and dealers that have exceeded performance criteria and demonstrated sincere commitment to providing customers with the right material handling equipment and technology to help control costs, improve safety and enhance energy efficiency.”

This is Crown Lift Trucks of Salt Lake City, Utah/Boise, Idaho’s first Pioneer Award and Summit Award; the branch earned the Ascent Award in 2011. “Our dedicated staff in Salt Lake City and Boise worked extremely hard this past year to elevate our performance levels higher than they’ve ever been,” said David Weiss, branch manager, Crown Lift Trucks of Salt Lake City, Utah/Boise, Idaho. “It’s because of our dedicated team that we have been able to secure the highest award a branch can earn.”

This is also Fallsway Equipment Company’s first Pioneer Award and Summit Award. Fallsway Equipment Company earned the Ascent Award in 2009. “Throughout 2012, we continued to be aggressive in providing the best possible customer service through expert counsel and problem solving,” said Gregory Fairhurst, president, Fallsway Equipment Company. “It was a combined effort from all departments to earn this award.”
