ORBIS® Corporation has once again been named Toyota North America’s “Returnable Packaging Fabricator of the Year.” This marks ORBIS’ fourth recognition in six years since Toyota began honoring packaging fabricators.
The award recognizes ORBIS for its partnership, responsiveness and commitment to continuous improvement across multiple vehicle launches, with key contributions to Toyota’s newest electric battery plant in North Carolina.
The award was presented on May 12 at Toyota’s Purchasing Supplier Development (PSD) – Accessories, Logistics & Packaging Annual Business Meeting in Plano, Texas. This recognition highlights ORBIS’ role in enabling more efficient and sustainable supply chains across Toyota’s operations.
Each year, Toyota evaluates suppliers against key performance indicators (KPIs) using a comprehensive internal scoring system. Awards are presented to organizations that meet or exceed these performance standards
