NOBLELIFT North America launches the new PSR30 Walkie Reach Truck with game-changing Moon Walking Technology

Listen to this article

NOBLELIFT, a global manufacturer of material handling innovations, has announced the release of the PSR30 Walkie Reach Truck, a 3,000-lb. capacity lithium-powered reach truck designed to deliver maximum flexibility, visibility, and safety across a wide range of applications.

With its breakthrough Moon Walking mode, proportional hydraulics, and pantograph reach mechanism, the PSR30 offers the versatility of two trucks in one, operating as both a counterbalanced lift and a straddle reach truck, depending on the operator’s needs.

A Swiss Army Knife for Material Handling

The PSR30 Walkie Reach Truck’s pantograph reach mechanism provides true operational flexibility.

  • Extended Reach Mode: When the pantograph is extended, the PSR30 functions like a sit-down counterbalanced truck, supporting any size pallet or load and allowing direct placement from height to the floor.
  • Retracted Mode: When retracted, the unit operates like a compact straddle truck, executing extremely tight turns even with a load. This makes it ideal for narrow aisles, tight storage rooms, and sideloading flatbed trailers, where maneuverability is essential.

This ability to seamlessly switch between two roles makes the PSR30 one of the most versatile lift trucks in the industry, reducing the need for multiple pieces of equipment, cutting operating costs, and ensuring maximum productivity across many environments.

Moon Walking: A Leap for Safety and Storage Density

Moon Walking mode enables operators to turn the tiller 90° and stand safely to the side of the machine, rather than directly behind it. This positioning delivers three critical advantages:

  • Unmatched Visibility: Operators have a clear view of both the load and surroundings during pick and place operations.
  • Space Savings: The PSR30 requires just 95.13 inches to right-angle stack a standard 40″ × 48″ pallet, dramatically shrinking aisle width requirements.
  • Safer Operation: By removing the operator from behind the truck, Moon Walking significantly reduces the risk of injury, product damage, or fixture damage.

“Moon Walking is more than a feature; it’s a giant leap for safety and storage density,” said Bill Pedriana, President at NOBLELIFT North America. “The PSR30 combines radically improved visibility with tighter aisle efficiency, helping operations to maximize racking capacity while protecting both operators and products–and it’s on the industry’s most flexible truck.”

Key Features of the PSR30

  • Pantograph Reach – Extended for counterbalanced truck operation; retracted for straddle truck maneuverability
  • Moon Walking Mode – Side-stand operation for maximum visibility and reduced aisle dimensions
  • Electric Power Steering (EPS) – Smooth, precise handling with minimal operator effort
  • Smooth Proportional Carriage Tilt – Retains loads during transit and compensates for unlevel floors during pick/place
  • Adjustable Straddle Legs (34”–50”) – Adaptability to multiple pallet sizes and applications, unlike competitive models
  • Integrated Side Shift – Moves the fork carriage without repositioning the entire truck
  • Three-Stage Mast with Full Free Lift – For low-ceiling environments with up to 189” lift height
  • Double Hydraulic Cylinders– Provide balanced load movement and prolonged component life
  • Fast-Charging Lithium Power – 24V/200Ah battery recharges in just 2 hours; supports opportunity charging
  • Pinwheel Capability – Tiller-upright operation in confined spaces
  • Smart Handle – LCD battery display, hour meter, fault codes, horn, and emergency belly button
  • Rugged, Flexible Design – Modular rollers, steel-framed protection, and robust mast construction

Built for Demanding Applications

From warehouses, supermarkets, and retail aisles to delivery operations and sideloading trailers, the PSR30 thrives wherever space is limited but productivity must remain high. Its fast-charging lithium-ion battery (LiFePO4 chemistry) delivers safe, maintenance-free power, backed by a 3-year/6,000-hour warranty.

The PSR30’s 3-point structural design, proportional hydraulics, and high-strength mast provide operators with stable and confident load handling, while safety systems, such as automatic speed reduction in turns and an emergency stop, enhance operator confidence in busy environments.

Availability

The PSR30 Walkie Pantograph Straddle Stacker is available now through NOBLELIFT dealers nationwide.
