UniCarriers Americas celebrates Arbor Day and New WLX by planting tree

UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) celebrated Arbor Day at its Marengo headquarters by planting a tree to commemorate its most recent product launch.

Since 2002, UCA has made a tradition of planting a tree on Arbor Day to celebrate a new product launch or special event. This year, UCA planted a blossoming crab apple tree to commemorate the release of its WLX series 4,00-pound capacity walkie pallet trucks. Trees were also planted to celebrate the release of UCA’s Platinum series, RPX Walkie/Walkie Rider series and the completion of the 100,000th forklift built by UCA.

“Each major product launch for UCA is a symbol of our growth from years past and prosperity for the days ahead,” said James J. Radous III, president of UCA. “In nature, few things epitomize growth and prosperity quite like trees, so we are very proud to participate in a holiday that encourages strong new beginnings by planting them.”

Through innovative features and design, the WLX series delivers more value and trusted reliability than many competitors. Some advantages of the WLX series include its robust fork assembly, powerful hydraulic system and durable design which give the trucks rugged reliability. A compact frame, precise maneuverability and high/low speed selection switches provide drivers with confidence and control.
