Twinlode Automation, a supplier of high-density storage systems for global material handling companies, today announced that Richard Kooistra has begun working for the company as Vice President of Automation. With almost 30 years of experience within the material handling industry, Kooistra is a strategic hire that will better position the company as it continues to provide advanced warehouse solutions to its customers globally.

Kooistra’s most recent position was at Swisslog where he was in charge of both domestic and international sales, as well as managed aspects of product development and innovation. His extensive experience in the material handling industry includes managing projects that include rack, Power Store Automation, ASRS, push-back and flow-through storage systems. Kooistra lives in Atlanta along with his wife Emily.
