UK and world chain maker Tsubaki has appointed Danny Migliozzi as its new Area Sales Manager for Southern Britain, with responsibility for an area stretching from the South coast up to Norwich, Northampton and Gloucester and West to Hereford, Swansea and South Wales.

Tsubaki manufactures a wide range of chains, industrial power transmission components and equipment, holding a worldwide reputation for its levels of quality and performance. Alongside roller chain, the business makes specialist attachment chains and large size conveyor chain, as well as cam clutches, sprockets, shaft couplings and safety devices. Its UK manufacturing headquarters in Nottingham is part of an international network of facilities that reaches around the globe.

Danny joined the Tsubaki in November from a conveyor belting manufacturer, and says most of his skills and knowledge are directly transferable to his new role:

“Conveyors often use chain drives, so I was well aware of Tsubaki and its commitment to quality products and customer support,” says Danny. “When an opportunity arose to join the company, I was delighted by the prospect of representing a worldwide organisation that holds a top market position.”

“I particularly like the specialist design and development aspects of this new role, helping clients resolve particular issues and develop bespoke designs that really meet the needs of specific applications. As a business, we need to be proactive and take part in future advances regarding machines and chains.”

“Tsubaki has a wide range of high-performance chains, such as the corrosion resistant Neptune and lube-free Lambda, which can transform the performance expectations of OEM engineers,” he enthuses. “We can also develop dedicated chain attachments and bespoke solutions that exactly meet the requirements of a given job.”

Outside of work, Danny is a keen rugby player with aspirations of moving into coaching in the not too distant future.
