Smart Vision Lights (SVL), a global provider in the design and manufacture of innovative LED illumination solutions for machine vision and other applications, announces that its NanoDrive™ technology has won the prestigious 2019 Prism Award in the Light Sources category.

SVL was among 30 innovative companies nominated for the award and one of three finalists in the lighting category. Jointly sponsored by SPIE and Photonics Media, the Prism Awards recognize the best from all fields of the optoelectronics industry.

Designed to enable ultrafast times for lights to switch fully on, the NanoDrive™ LED light driver can supply full current to LEDs in 50 ns and provide up to hundreds of amps. Vision inspection applications that require rapid image acquisition or short image exposure, such as robotics or fast-moving products, will benefit from the NanoDrive™.

“We are very honored to receive this highly coveted industry recognition for our cutting-edge NanoDrive™ technology,” says David Spaulding, President of Smart Vision Lights. “The driver is emblematic of our proactive approach to anticipating the needs of demanding industry applications by developing innovative solutions.”
