Shoppa’s appoints new Marketing Manager
Shoppa’s Material Handling, one of the largest Toyota forklift distributors throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, North Texas and Kansas City, Missouri, announced today the appointment of Ellena Fortner Newsom as Marketing Manager at Shoppa’s Material Handling and Shoppa’s Mid America.
Fortner Newsom brings more than a decade of experience to the Shoppa’s team. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Communications and most recently worked with Parker Law Firm of Bedford as the Marketing Director and Mothers Against Drunk Driving as a Senior Digital Specialist, where she was responsible for leading the digital team in online fundraising. Some of her accomplishments in that role included increasing fundraising results, refreshing the organization’s website, and building online loyalty and lead generation through content and social media.
In her new role, Fortner Newsom will develop and implement marketing strategies for Shoppa’s, while assuming responsibility for brand management and corporate identity. Other job objectives include coordinating all marketing, advertising and promotional activities, while advising the executive management team on customer research and current market conditions.
