Philadelphia Scientific LLC, the Lean Battery Room Experts™ and a leading international manufacturer of industrial battery management and maintenance equipment, has appointed Charles R. Snyder as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Snyder will oversee the company’s sales, marketing, promotional and public relations activities in North, Central and South America.
“Chuck brings a diverse background to the sales and marketing role including design engineering, project management, process improvement, quality and financial control and manufacturing operations,” said Dan Jones, president of Philadelphia Scientific. “He will provide strong leadership to the internal team that supports our regional sales managers, who offer outstanding expertise and service to their customers and our distributors.”
For seven years prior to his appointment in sales and marketing, he led a Philadelphia Scientific team that provided new product development, manufacturing support and the delivery of custom business solutions. He will continue to differentiate us as the leading provider of industrial battery management and maintenance tools.”
Snyder earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University and a master’s degree in systems engineering and an executive master’s technology management degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
