Following five years of continued growth FB Chain has engaged Darran Green as its first sales manager. In this newly created role Darran will work to unite and improve the effectiveness of FB Chain’s various sales teams, reporting directly to the managing director, Peter Church. In particular Darran aims to promote an even higher quality of service for customers across all FB Chain’s business areas. 

A time-served apprentice, Darran brings more than 30 years’ experience in the field of mechanical engineering, including the manufacture and sales of transmissions and other linear motion products. Furthermore, many of his previous sales roles also necessitated the consultative approach favoured by FB Chain, in which the supplier and customer collaborate to create the best solution for the individual application in hand. He is also an experienced team leader. 

During his free time Darran is kept fully occupied by his two small children at his home in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. He has also dabbled in 6-a-side football and occasionally enjoys a round of golf. 

“It is a pleasure to join such an experienced and motivated team and I am really looking forward to the challenge,” he says. “There is a lot of potential at FB Chain.”
