Adrian’s Safety Solutions (Bednet®) is presenting four awards to outstanding companies with excellence in safety practice and culture.

Steve Dew, president of Adrian’s Safety Solutions, announced this year’s award recipients:

  • Safety Innovator of the Year Award: The Home Depot
  • Dealer of the Year Award: SJF Material Handling, Inc.
  • Fleet Safety Award – Passenger Vehicle: Bayer Corporation
  • Fleet Safety Award – Freight: Raymour & Flanigan | Mattresses

Adrian’s Safety Solutions is dedicated to helping workplaces become as safe as possible, and the company is proud to present these awards to other organizations who also take workspace safety seriously.

Recipients of these four awards have shown superior commitment to workplace safety, according to Dew. He says that seeing these companies practicing safe workplace strategies and excellent safety technique choices is “inspiring.”

Dew explains that one of the missions of Adrian’s Safety Solutions is to make the workplace safer by offering affordable safety solutions.

“Effective control of goods and cargo, whether on the road with fleet customers such as Raymour & Flaningan or Bayer Corporation, or relative to retail and worker safety with The Home Depot, is the core of Adrian’s Safety Solutions business. It’s important to us to recognize and honor those in the industry doing their best to keep products and people safe.”

Chris Courtney, The Home Depot’s Senior Manager of Safety Operations, expressed the company’s gratitude for its recognition as Safety Innovator of the Year. “At The Home Depot, we take pride in working with agile suppliers, like Adrian’s, that continually demonstrate how their creativity can coexist with our entrepreneurial spirit. This relationship results in products and processes that provide a safer working environment for our associates and shopping environment for our customers.”

Members of the Bayer team appreciate the level of commitment to safety shown by their partners as well as their company. Dawn Inzalaco-Freeman, Bayer US HSE Fleet Safety Manager, said “Bayer is committed to the welfare and safety of all employees at every level of the business. The Fleet Department and I work closely with Wheels Inc. to provide the best safety solutions for our drivers.”

Additionally, Mario Moses, Fleet Sourcing and Supplier Management Americas with Bayer Corp., said “Having discovered a need for additional safety, Bayer Fleet initiated an analysis that connected Bayer US HSE Fleet Safety Manager with Wheels Inc. Truck Engineering and determined both the requirements and designs to best secure our cargo and protect our drivers. Thereafter, Bayer HSE and Wheels Truck Engineering determined that Adrian’s could provide Bednet products that meet our needs from both the security and flexibility perspectives.“

Norm Rawda, Purchasing Manager with premier furniture and mattress retail chain Raymour & Flanigan Furniture | Mattresses, is proud to receive this award. “Safety is a value here, and our leaders and associates continue to improve and create safe environments with our locations and fleet. Thank you for recognizing us for the Fleet Safety Award. It is an honor to receive this award!”

Additionally, Stafford Sterner, SJF Material Handling’s President, expressed the company’s gratitude for its recognition as Dealer of the Year. “Partnering with Adrians has allowed SJF to provide a wide selection of safety solutions to our clients that are effective & affordable. Our clients love the products. They simply work. We look forward to working with Adrians to add additional products to our existing line of safety equipment as they become available,” said Sterner.

These award-winning companies understand the importance of making safety a top priority, and Dew and the staff of Adrian’s Safety Solutions look forward to their continued efforts in workplace safety.
