Snorkel, a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms is expanding its telehandler line with the introduction of two new models at World of Concrete 2019.

Following on from the successful launch of the Snorkel SR5719 compact rough terrain telehandler in January 2018, Snorkel is bringing two larger capacity models to the market.

The new SR9244 offers a lift capacity of 9,260 lbs. (4,200kg), a maximum lift height of 44 ft. 4 in. (13.5m) and a forward reach of 31 ft. 2 in. (9.5m), whilst the larger SR1054 delivers a lift capacity of 10,000 lbs. (4,535kg), a maximum lift height of 53 ft. 9 in. (16.4m) and a forward reach of 41 ft. 4 in. (12.6m). Both models have an overall width of just 7 ft. 6 in. (2.3m) and a stowed height of 8 ft. 5 in (2.56m).

Sharing many of the same features as the Snorkel SR5719, the two new models have full-time four-wheel drive and foam filled tires for tackling rough terrain, are equipped with power assisted steering and are powered by a Deutz TLD 3.6L 100hp Tier 4 Final engine. Delivering high levels of operator comfort, the fully enclosed cab includes an adjustable suspension seat as standard, along with heat and air conditioning as well as proportional joystick controls.

Fitted with a B-Class carriage adaptor and hydraulic attachment quick disconnect, the SR9244 and SR1054 can be easily customized with a wide range of attachments.

Weighing 24,581 lbs. (11,150kg) and 26,852 lbs. (12,180kg) respectively, the Snorkel SR9244 and SR1054 have a heavy-duty construction designed to handle the demands of both the rental and construction sectors. Both telehanders are backed by Snorkel’s two-year parts and labor, and five-year structural warranty.

Sharing a 9,500 sq. ft. (882sqm) outdoor booth with sister company, Xtreme Manufacturing, Snorkel can be found at booth #O30099 in the Silver Lot at World of Concrete 2019.
