Remcon Plastics creates eco-friendly, heavy-duty bins

Listen to this article
Remcon Plastics Inc., has just launched a new two eco-friendly, heavy-duty, high bulk density reusable polyethylene bins.  The HBD-TR bin comes with a detachable lid and an optional drainage plug. The HBD-FB bin provides the same features with the additional benefits of stackability for savings on the backhaul of empty containers, and a detachable pallet.

“Over the past 36 years, Remcon has had tremendous success in producing a variety of industrial material handling containers to meet very unusual design challenges,” says Remcon President and CEO Peter Connors. “I am thrilled we have created and manufactured our new heavy-duty bins. Our unique design optimization process enables us to unlock significant savings for our customers, particularly in areas they may have completely overlooked.” “Our reusable containers can pay for themselves with as few as 4 to 5 uses. The long life of these containers has a significant impact on sustainability because they severely reduce the amount of corrugated material going to landfills,” he adds.

The Remcon bins have application for products, such as metal, ceramic powders and metal recycling. The bins can hold the weight of 6,000 pounds and are FDA/USDA compliant for storage, in-process handling and shipping.
