Pepperdine University selects Toshiba Digital Signage Provider

Toshiba HD Videowalls Spotlight Pepperdine University Brand at STAPLES Center and Calabasas, California Locations

Toshiba America Business Solutions is helping boost Pepperdine University’s marketing efforts by installing twin high-definition (HD) videowalls at the University’s STAPLES Center and Calabasas, Calif locations.

Toshiba’s newly-installed videowalls, situated within the University’s newly-minted classroom inside STAPLES Center and in the lobby of its Calabasas campus, feature videos highlighting the myriad of benefits Pepperdine University presents undergraduate and graduate students.  The pair of 13 by six feet, HD videowalls communicate Pepperdine University’s brand story in a visually compelling manner to fans attending sports and entertainment events at STAPLES Center and those visiting the University’s Calabasas campus.

Toshiba’s digital signage features high-impact vignettes that spotlight the academic strengths, program information, institutional differentiators, and signature events that account for the University’s distinct positioning at the crossroads of scholarship, faith, and culture.

The videowalls also play an important role in highlighting Pepperdine’s partnership with AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company.

“We are fortunate to work with world-class partners who enhance the innovative learning experiences across our campuses in California and around the world,” said Pepperdine University Chief Marketing Officer Rick Gibson. “Toshiba’s innovative solutions and approach to digital experiences have proven to be a great fit for Pepperdine as we strengthen our storytelling and maximize brand visibility.”

“Toshiba is pleased to partner with a globally recognized academic organization like Pepperdine University,” said Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Marketing Executive Bill Melo.  “We are thrilled to help articulate the University’s prestigious brand story in a visually impactful manner while broadening the awareness of the University to diverse audiences.”
