Last week Manitou North American dealers got the first look at several new Manitou, Gehl and Mustang by Manitou machines at the company’s annual dealer meeting in Milwaukee, WI. The new products range from skid and track loaders to telehandlers and mobile elevated work platforms — all positioned for the North American market.

“This is an exciting time at Manitou North America as we pursue new market opportunities and focus on strengthening our products, services and customer support,” said Mark Hanson, CEO of Manitou North America. “Our annual dealer meeting provides a really great opportunity to come together with our customers, listen and learn from each other, and plan for the future.”

At the event, dealers from across the United States and Canada saw firsthand the latest products from Manitou, Gehl and Mustang by Manitou. They also had the opportunity to test drive nearly 60 machines.

Manitou introduced the MLT 630 NewAg telehandler, a highly-versatile compact model with a lift capacity of 6,600 pounds and speeds up to 23 miles per hour. The boom extends beyond the reach of a typical tractor, with a maximum lift height of 19-feet-8-inches and forward reach of 10-feet-11-inches. The Manitou NewAg range provides a low total cost of ownership and maximum return on investment with lower fuel consumption and maintenance costs.

Mustang by Manitou debuted the all-new 1050RT track loader, which will be the most compact model in the product line with a ROPS height of 70 inches and overall width of 48 inches — an ideal machine for the rental industry or any tight access application.

Dealers also got to see the brand-new RS4-14, the smallest telehandler from Gehl. This compact model is just under 60 inches wide, 75 inches tall, and can lift up to 4,400 pounds. The Gehl RS4-14 is lightweight and easy to transport, so it is an ideal solution for do-it-yourself homeowners, construction applications and the rental market.
