PTDA 2019 Candian Conference focuses on building relationships, relevant education

Registration is now open for the PTDA 2019 Canadian Conference, to be held June 5-7, 2019, at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For the eighteenth year, key decision makers of the Canadian power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry will gather for business networking and education including: a CEO/Senior Executive Roundtable, a Leadership Enhancement Seminarand DM-IDEX. DM-IDEX (Distributor-Manufacturer Idea Exchange) provides Canadian distributor companies the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings in advance with the manufacturers they wish to see during the conference. Manufacturers also schedule meetings with distributor companies.

The Leadership Enhancement Seminar presented by Doug Jones, an expert in dynamic leadership and motivation, will focus on practical techniques to help participants resolve problems, remove barriers and excel at achieving results. The second day features Andy Stumpf, Naval veteran and former member of the U.S. elite SEAL Team 6 who will share how great leaders can elicit performance beyond what an individual considers possible. Michael Campbell, business and personal finance expert and host of Money Talks, will discuss the upcoming major shift that will impact currencies, commodities and cross-border business to help members survive and thrive in today’s tumultuous economic environment.

“The Canadian Conference provides great networking opportunities and allows us to continue to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones. We also gain valuable information about the industry. If you’re doing business in the PT Industry in Canada, or have plans to in the future, it’s a must attend event,” said Craig Bobbie, vice president, PTM Industries Inc.

PTDA is a member-driven organization led by volunteers who work with their peers in the industry to develop relevant and timely content and programming. Using the expertise of several of the industry’s top executives, the programming for the Canadian Conference is specifically designed for Canadian distributors and manufacturers who sell power transmission/motion control products in Canada. With new sessions each year, the conference goal is to inform and educate with relevant and timely material.
