CSCMP announces the winner of the 2019 Young Professionals Essay Contest

Trimble Transportation and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) announced that Nathanael Zachary, Business Development Manager at MIQ Logistics as the winner of the 2019 Young Professionals Essay Contest.

CSCMP received 17 excellent submissions in which contestants addressed the biggest challenge affecting supply chain management and how they plan to solve it. Topics discussed included blockchain standardization, consumerization and big data analytics implementation, but ultimately Nathanael’s essay on blockchain was selected as the winner of the Trimble Transportation Scholarship.

Nathanael will be awarded during the Future Leaders Reception of CSCMP’s EDGE Conference in Anaheim, California on Sunday, September 15, 2019.

The Young Professionals Essay Contest is an opportunity for young professional and student members age 32 and under to demonstrate their ability to think futuristically and deliver potential solutions. The scholarship winner is awarded one complimentary registration to EDGE, hotel lodging, and a stipend. The 2020 application period will open in December 2019.
