Brady, a global supplier of industrial and safety printing systems and solutions, announced its new WorkHorse™ Series B-8591 outdoor identification label. This new label material features extreme outdoor durability with resistance to UV, abrasion and fluids.
“The B-8591 label is our most durable label yet,” says Jennifer Smith, regional product manager for Brady. “It will be very successful in replacing labels in applications that currently require over-laminates. The proprietary design protects against damaging UV rays, abrasion and harsh fluids, enabling superior performance without the extra material and process step.”
This new material features 12+ year outdoor durability to reduce identification failures and the costs associated with the rework from failures. Its performance comes from the unique combination of B-8591 Brady proprietary material with the R6600 series THT ribbons to allow for gloss retention, print density and scratch resistance. It’s also halogen-free and uses pressure-sensitive adhesive for quick and easy application with no additional hardware needed.
The B-8591 label is ideal for applications including nameplate identification, asset tracking and general purpose labeling on surfaces that are constantly exposed to the outdoor environment. This print on-demand solution gives users control over label design to quickly and easily make adjustments as needed.
