Martelle will grow team and leverage connections to strengthen Barcoding-Canada’s presence and offerings

Barcoding, Inc., has hired Bertrand Martelle as country manager for Barcoding’s rapidly expanding Canadian presence. Martelle will oversee Barcoding’s Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver offices, strengthening the company’s ability to offer custom supply-chain solutions to partners in Canada and across North America.

Martelle’s long history leading teams in the data capture business makes him eminently equipped to develop Barcoding-Canada. Over his career, he has worked with industry leaders such as Intermec (now Honeywell) and Psion Teklogix (now Zebra) with a focus on building high quality sales and technical teams and forming strategic alliances to better meet customer needs.

“Bertrand Martelle has joined Barcoding at a time of significant growth in critical new markets and new technical offerings,” said Shane Snyder, president of Barcoding, Inc. “His extensive experience in the industry and intimate knowledge of the Canadian market and culture will allow us to provide an unparalleled level of expertise to our customers while growing new business and expanding our horizons.”

As the head of Barcoding-Canada, Martelle will build a team with a wide variety of expertise to support Barcoding’s ability to deliver tailor-made solutions to any logistical challenge. He will also draw on Barcoding’s tremendous technical resources and work closely with partners across the continent to exceed customer expectations.

“Barcoding, Inc. is a well-established leader in the data capture industry, so I was honored to have the opportunity to lead its growth into the Canadian marketplace,” said Martelle. “There is a market need for a Canadian organization to help companies improve their supply chain performance, and it’s a challenge my growing team is excited to help support.”
