Donation is part of Toyota Material Handling’s ongoing partnership with the American Red Cross to provide support on a local, regional, and national level

Toyota-Lift of Los Angeles announced its support of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Red Cross. The company donated $5,000 to fund life-saving services, and its associates installed alarms to help the American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm” campaign reach its goal to install 100,000 free smoke alarms.

“We are proud to support Toyota Material Handling’s ongoing partnership with the American Red Cross to provide support on a local, regional, and national level,” said Toyota-Lift of Los Angeles CEO Shankar Basu. “We are committed to helping the Los Angeles chapter of the American Red Cross by providing time, money, and material handling equipment to assist our communities and neighbors in times of need.”

Events to support the American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm” campaign were held in more than 100 at-risk communities in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Toyota Material Handling announced its national partnership with the American Red Cross last year.
