ELOKON names new CEO for Polish Subsidiary

Safety technology leader enhances strength in global industrial safety market

ELOKON, a global provider in industrial safety technology, has appointed Michał Makaruk CEO of its Polish subsidiary, ELOKON Polska Sp. z o.o. In his new role, Mr. Makaruk will strengthen ELOKON Polska’s position as a supplier of automation safety technology, expand the company’s portfolio of products and services, and build on the company’s market leadership in driver-assistance technology for industrial trucks.

Key objectives for ELOKON Polska include: strengthening ELOKON’s market leadership in machinery safety solutions; helping customers develop new production processes using robotics, automation, and digitization; developing innovative new services and products; expanding the company’s penetration of European markets; and fostering the professional development of the ELOKON employee team.

Mr. Makaruk, 43, has more than 20 years of experience across diverse international industries, including packaging and automotive. Prior to joining ELOKON, he served in a wide range of leadership roles in sales, project management, production, and operations management. Mr. Makaruk holds a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology and an MBA in business administration from the University of Illinois Urbana.
