Westfalia Technologies, Inc. provider of logistics solutions for manufacturers, warehouses and distribution centers since 1992, announces that it will host a hiring event on Oct. 2 at its York, Pennsylvania, headquarters.

In the spirit of Manufacturing Day, the event will not only promote hiring at Westfalia, but also help drive efforts to bridge the skills gap in the manufacturing industry. Always looking for talented people who are dedicated to building long-term customer relationships, Westfalia invites candidates to explore the opportunity to be a part of designing, building and installing world-class logistical systems. Individuals interested in the hiring event must pre-schedule 30-minute interviews with hiring managers using Westfalia’s online scheduling platform.

In addition, there will be pre-determined times for students from select colleges to speak with hiring managers about the available jobs and how their skills can help Westfalia. As advanced technology, like warehouse automation systems, continues to play a large role in manufacturing operations, companies are in need of skilled workers,” said Staci Cretu, marketing and communications manager, Westfalia Technologies. “Unfortunately, there is shortage of qualified candidates, and therefore, many manufacturers have jobs they cannot fill. By hosting a hiring event, we hope to inspire the next generation of manufacturers and augment our staff with some new, talented professionals.” Software Developer
