UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) announced its general session speaker lineup at its first Forklift Industry Summit, taking place from October 10-12, 2018, at the InterContinental Hotel Miami. The invitation-only event will bring together UCA dealers, component and aftermarket suppliers and industry experts for three days of information-sharing opportunities.

UniCarriers Americas’ president, James J. Radous III, will provide opening remarks as he kicks off the summit’s general session. Brian Markison, UCA’s senior director of sales and marketing, will also speak during the general session and introduce the first keynote speaker, Josh Bond.

Bond is the senior editor for Modern Materials Handling, and he will unveil results from the publication’s annual Lift Truck User Survey. Attendees will garner exclusive findings beyond what is featured in the publication.

Jude Rake, founder and CEO of the leadership consulting firm JDR Growth Partners and author of The Bridge to Growth, will close out the general session. Rake’s presentation will address servant leadership and how it achieves optimal results. Before founding JDR Growth Partners, Rake served in multiple C-level roles including CEO for eleven years.

“UniCarriers Americas is excited to have Josh and Jude join us during our summit,” said Radous. “Their insightful presentations will offer exclusive industry information as well as meaningful takeaways for business leaders.”

Numerous breakout session and roundtable discussion opportunities will be available to dealers and suppliers following the general session. Dealer breakout session topics have been finalized and include future segments marketing, rental management, succession planning, service automation, parts best practices, service best practices, UCA’s product roadmap and human resources best practices led by UCA’s Director of Human Resources, Christy Willis.

UCA anticipates an attendance of 375 professionals. Supplier speaker topics will be announced at a later date.
