TVH in the Americas (TVH), has recently been platinum level certified by the Healthy KC organization for their efforts in promoting a healthy workplace environment! The Healthy KC is a non-profit organization that, “…advocates for real solutions that help shape individual, organizational, and environmental health change through a collaborative, community-wide partnership. It aims to create a culture of health and wellness in Greater Kansas City.”
Being awarded platinum level is a huge honor for TVH because it is the highest level certification that a company can receive. The workplace wellness certification is based off of the five pillars of health according to the organization; nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation, work-life integration, and design & built environment.
TVH owes this accomplishment to their Nudge program which strives to encourage and support employees to live a healthy lifestyle by providing classes, activities and information on a variety of topics from diet to exercise. On a regular basis, the program provides walking challenges, weekly fruit day, on-site gym, educational classes, and so much more that employees greatly appreciate. Nudge has become a valuable asset to our company and will continue to empower their employees for years to come.
