SpotSee names new Central and South America general manager

SpotSee, a global internet of things (IoT) connectivity platform and parent company to leading supply chain monitoring brands ShockWatch, ShockLog, SpotBot, ShockTrak, WarmMark and OpsWatch, has announced that Roberto Pinheiro is the company’s new Central and South America General Manager. In this role, Pinheiro is tasked with leading sales for all of Central and South America.

“We are excited to bring Roberto onto our team,” said Tony Fonk, CEO, SpotSee. “With his extensive experience and deep knowledge of the Latin American industrial markets, we are confident he will provide instant value to our company.”

Pinheiro brings nearly 30 years of sales and processes experience to his new position at SpotSee. His past experience is rooted in responsibility for sales and marketing, management of processes and interactions with distributors, making him an excellent fit at SpotSee. Additionally, Pinheiro is constantly furthering his education by participating in leadership and sales programs to further refine his professional skills.

Before joining SpotSee, Pinheiro worked for Emerson as a sales director and business manager in charge of several million dollars of sales. While working at Emerson, he was tasked with sales, appointing new distributors, revising prices, and reviewing sales and marketing opportunities. Prior to Emerson, Pinheiro worked at SMAR, a Brazilian manufacturer of measurement and process automation system for industrial uses, as an international division manager in charge of more than $20 million in sales. He was tasked with international business development, international sales and establishing foreign sales offices. Pinheiro held previous roles in the sales departments for Imosa Ltda. and Brasinox Equipamentos Industriais Ltda. He graduated from Universidade Paulista with a bachelor’s degree in international business.
