Shoppa’s Material Handling, one of the largest Toyota forklift distributors throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, North Texas and Kansas City, Missouri, announced today the appointment of Greg Jaynes, CPA, in the role of Chief Financial Officer at Shoppa’s Material Handling and Shoppa’s Mid America.

“Greg is a veteran financial executive with more than 20 years of experience,” says Jim Shoppa, President, Shoppa’s Material Handling. “He shares our corporate vision and brings a wealth of knowledge to help our team continue to improve our financial systems, as well as implement technologies to support our growth.” After graduating from Texas A&M in 1991 with a Bachelors in Accounting, Jaynes began with a large regional public accounting firm in Dallas and has since spent his career with manufacturing and distribution companies in the Dallas area, most recently at Riveron Consulting where he worked for M&M Refrigeration. The native Texan and CPA says the culture at Shoppa’s Material Handling is a big draw.

“The company, Jim Shoppa and the strong culture at Shoppa’s Material Handling is what attracted me,” Jaynes said. “I’m excited to be a part of it. As a leader, I want to inspire my team and motivate their performance to create sustained value. I also believe it is my job to support and promote my team to help them accomplish their professional goals.” Jaynes brings multiple skills to his new position, including CFO responsibilities over multiple locations, private equity reporting, ERP system implementation, process improvement, strategic planning and project management. Goals for his new position include building a strong team with more efficient financial practices and systems in place.
