Milwaukee-based manufacturer Rite-Hite is expanding its operations by adding an office location in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The move is a result of additional space needs due to company growth.

Located at 342 N. Water St., the 12,500-square-foot facility will house 20-plus full-time sales management and corporate marketing employees. It will also feature an education center that will host up to 24 additional people at a time from all over the world for 3-month sales training programs. The first of three annual training classes started at the end of February. The Rite-Hite Sales Academy, which provides training for existing salespeople will also be housed in the new location.

Founded in 1965, Rite-Hite is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of supply chain logistics and industrial safety equipment, as well as other products used in large industrial, commercial and municipal facilities. The company has grown steadily in recent years and is up to over 2,000 employees worldwide, having added more than 200 people to its global workforce since 2014. Rite-Hite’s Milwaukee area-facilities include the company’s corporate headquarters and an R&D facility, both in Brown Deer. In addition to its Milwaukee locations, the company operates plants in Iowa and Mississippi, and also has sales, service and manufacturing in China, Europe, and Canada.

“As Rite-Hite continues to experience tremendous growth, it’s essential to make sure we have the most skilled and highly trained sales and service professionals possible,” said Rite-Hite Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications, Sara Everts. “Milwaukee’s Third Ward is the perfect place to bring in young motivated people for our training program. We’re excited to be part of the energetic and vibrant downtown.”

Rite-Hite products are used in factories and warehouses worldwide, as well as in leading commercial and municipal buildings like the new Milwaukee Bucks arena that installed Rite-Hite equipment in six loading dock stations. Rite-Hite representatives also provide top-notch service and maintenance to industrial companies throughout the US and around the world.
