Raymond donates hand pallet trucks to local middle and high school

The Raymond Corporation donated two hand pallet trucks to the Greene Central School District middle and high schools located in Greene, New York. The school district will use the new hand pallet trucks to transport items, such as daily deliveries, including food preparation items for the cafeterias, parcel deliveries and miscellaneous maintenance needs up to 5,500 pounds.

“The Greene Central School district is extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful neighbor in The Raymond Corporation. Raymond has always supported our efforts, as well as our community, enhancing the lives of our families,” says Gordie Daniels, interim superintendent for Greene Central School District. “We thank them for their thoughtful donation and commitment.”

Raymond employs 1,800 people in the Greene, New York, area and has been headquartered there since 1922.

“We are so pleased that we are able to help enhance Greene Central School District’s day-to-day operations with one of our founding products, especially because Raymond’s employees are an integral part of the community,” says Shannon Curtis, product manager for hand pallet trucks at Raymond. “It is an honor to serve our community. Being an alumni from the Greene Central School District myself, I’m looking forward to seeing how this donation can help.”
