Hannibal Industries celebrates three decades of success

Hannibal Industries, Inc. celebrates its thirty-year anniversary and congratulates its eight original employees who have been with the company from its inception. Since opening its doors in 1985, Hannibal Industries has quickly expanded from its Los Angeles headquarters into global markets and has added additional facilities. Each year, the company produces and ships well in excess of 90,000 tons of steel between its two divisions.

Hannibal has had great success over the years and we owe that success to our team,” says President, Blanton Bartlett. “We have successfully grown our business, formed valuable alliances, through providing carbon steel tubing and storage solutions to massive operations around the world. The monumental steps Hannibal has made are in thanks to our dedicated team and we look forward to growing and serving our customers for many more years to come.”

The company celebrated its thirty-year anniversary with family members at Knott’s Berry Farm this past weekend. Hannibal’s anniversary celebration hosted a DJ, games, activities, a guest appearance from Snoopy and a personalized cake for its attendees.

In 2008, Hannibal Industries, Inc. acquired full ownership from Mitsui & Company (U.S.A.) through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and recently celebrated seven-years as an ESOP. Throughout the years, Hannibal has been awarded two patents, became an ESOP, created innovative solutions, formed valuable partnerships, established international sales channels through strategic partnerships, acquired and expanded facilities and among other accomplishments will expand its business into Houston to better serve its clients in the south.

Hannibal Industries provides carbon steel tubing to metal distributors and storage solutions to the food and beverage, home improvement, warehouse distribution, manufacturing, cold storage distribution, retail, archive storage, automotive and Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PL). The company works closely with system integrators, consultants and forklift suppliers to offer innovative solutions.
